There are spectacular views from the old town overlooking Mojacar Playa and the blue Mediterranean sea. Mojacar old town has inspired creativity for artists and writers who have used the town as a focal point throughout the ages.

This part of Spain boasts some of the best golf courses in Europe providing a wealth of choice with numerous 18-hole courses within easy reach. Marina Golf Mojacar combines flat fairways by the sea with spectacular mountainside terrain to test the skills of the most proficient golf enthusiasts.
Almeria's stunning Desert Springs course, designed by Walker Cup Captain Peter McEvoy, was the first desert course to be built in Europe. With lush fairways, water features and harsh desert terrain, the course rivals the famous desert courses of Arizona and California.
Horse riding and pony trekking
For people who enjoy horse riding, there are two nearby horse riding centres - Cortijo Kupanda in Los Gallardos to the north of the town on the road to Garrucha and Rancho Cabrera in the Sierra Cabrera mountains which provide the magnificent backdrop to the resort.
